Lots of activity has been going on in the speed arena. I'm going to try and keep this page updated with new info. If you want to be notified when I update this page, let me know at: bill@wwwright.com
Just wanted to post some recent speed climbing news in Yosemite Valley:
Cedar Wright and Ammon McNeely climbed Iron Hawk in a record time of 30:42 on May 6,2004. This was the first two man party to have climbed the route in a push.
Ivo Ninov and Ammon McNeely climbed Pacific Ocean Wall in 33:02 on May 25, 2004, shaving three hours off the previous record. This was also the first two man party to have climbed the route in an "alpine style" ascent.
