Approximate distance is 10km on "skied in", not groomed, trails.

2 min for genuine wooden skis or snowshoes
2 min for person with ski area map from farthest away place you have skied
2 min for wearing a costume

15 sec for each telemark turn completed on Ho Hum (up to 20 turns)

Additional awards for most original costume, most creative egg cooking, and anything else the judges deem noteworthy. Bribing of the judges is expected and encouraged.

Entry Fee: Eldora Nordic ski pass is mandatory ($15) plus a potluck prize of $5 value or more. If you have an Eldora Season Pass it is sufficient to enter this race, as well.

Race course description:
Start at Nordic Center
1. Take Dixie (or any route of your choice) to Rising Sun
2. Rising Sun to Robb's Shortcut (this is a 4-way intersection, go left) which goes to Tennessee Mtn Cabin
3. Take the road in front of the cabin through the meadow back to the 4-way intersection mentioned above, go left on Rising Sun.
4. Rising Sun to Setting Sun
5. Setting Sun to Siding (most difficult route finding section here). Go left on Siding for less than 50 yards.
6. Right on Twin Twisted Tree
7. Twin Twisted Tree to snowpit area near old cabin
8. Twin Twisted Tree to 4-way intersection -- go straight (it really turns to the right here, but not as sharp as the other trail), which is 17th Avenue
9. Hard left on Cheaters Corner (this is unmarked by any trail signs and the most missed turn in the race. It actually isn't Cheaters Corner, but an unamed service road. It hits the Eldora alpine ski area near the top of the beginner chairlift).
10. Right side of Ho Hum back to Nordic Center
